Location

 Elefsis Shipyards S.A. is located at Eleusis Bay (38^º02'N 023^º33'E), 4 kms from Eleusis town. The bay is well protected from strong winds.

Floating docks

Three floating docks are available with the following specifications:

As well as the floating dock capacities, the yard can berth seven to ten vessels, depending on vessel size, simultaneously alongside the repair piers. Anchorage is also possible in Eleusis Bay under pilot's direction but this is often very crowded with laid-up vessels.

ELEUSIS PORT (COMMERCIAL CENTRAL PORT)

Eleusis or Elefsis is the main port operates as a commercial port only for small dry cargo and Ro-Ro Vessels.

General cargo,scrap,steel coils,timber,cement,gravel,grit,pulp & various heavy (wind generator,engine equipment) are the main cargoes handled.

Average water density is 1.025 while tidal range is +/-30 cm

Approach — Pilotage

Vessels with destination Eleusis , have to arrive at Piraeus port in order to have pilot boarded for passing through Salamis channel to Eleusis bay. (VHF-CH-12-)
Draft at Salamis channel is 10.89 meters.
The same pilot berths vessel alongside (if prospects are on arrival).

Draft: varying between 6,70-9,80 meters

CENTRAL- DOCK

LOA: 360 meters
