Syros Island is the capital of the Cyclades' Archipelago in the central of Aegean Sea and only a few miles from the Port of Piraeus. This island proved to be the most perfect location for bunkering (at anchorage), provisioning, dry-docking and various other vessel's operations  because it is on the top of the crossroads of numerous international shipping lanes, such as the Mediterranean-Black Sea route, a few hours from the Suez-Gibraltar route and only five hours steaming from the main sea lane to the Adriatic.

The port of Thessaloniki Port of Thessaloniki is Greece's second largest export and transit port and the main sea hub to the Balkan hinterland. Located on the north-west shore of the Thermaikos Gulf (40o38' N/ 22o56'E), it is also the nearest European Union port to the Balkan countries and the Black Sea zone.

Thessaloniki Port is separated into three zones:

  • The passenger terminal, a modern facility located in the central port 500 metres from the city centre, serves coastal shipping to destinations such as the north-eastern Aegean Islands, the Dodecanese Islands and Samos, the Cycladic Islands and Crete and the North Sporades. Part of the pier and terminal is set aside for cruise ships, with facilities that meet the standards of the Schengen Treaty.
  • The Container Terminal is located in a specially arranged area 550 metres long and 340 metres wide in the western part of Pier 6 of the port. Ships up to 12 metres draught can be accommodated.
  • Conventional cargo is handled in an area totaling about 1 million square metres, with quay length of 4,000 metres and depth up to 12 metres.

- The Freeport (Quays 10 to 14) handles cargo from/to EU member states and               community/domestic cargo from/to Greek harbours.

- The conventional cargo terminal (Quays 15-24) handles cargos of all origins and destinations, including the above; these are handled in the Free Zone and include:

-  General cargo (steelwork products, palletised cargo, metal sheets, timber, marble, etc.)

-  Dry bulks (minerals, cement, ores, coal, cereals, solid fuel, feedstuffs, fertilisers, scrap)

-  Liquid bulks via pipelines (spirits, chloroform, asphalt, chemicals, mineral oils, wine)

-  Ro-ro vehicles

At this port we serve the vessels with one very reliable subagent.
